Driveways in Bournemouth
Resin bound and block paving drives, including front gardens turned into off-road parking.
More on driveways
Our HQ is on Alma Road in Bournemouth, and we build driveways, patios and gardens right across the town, from front drives on busy roads to full back-garden rebuilds. Every job goes down on a dug-out, compacted base, and you get an itemised quote in writing first.
Driveways in resin bound, block paving, tarmac and gravel, plus artificial grass, walls and steps and garden rooms.

Sandstone and porcelain patios for back gardens of every size, from courtyards to big plots.
More on patios
Full rebuilds with new levels, lawns, artificial grass, fencing and lighting.
More on gardens
On sand, artificial grass drains through fast, so the base can be shallower than on clay. It suits the small back gardens of Boscombe and Winton.

Low block retaining walls to level gardens that fall towards the chines, and front walls rebuilt alongside a new drive.

Garden offices for Bournemouth's long, narrow plots, set at the far end on a block plinth with a path back to the house.

Most of Bournemouth sits on sand. It drains quickly, which suits permeable resin bound and gravel drives, and digging out is fast. The catch is that sand moves sideways if nothing holds it, so on Bournemouth jobs the edging gets a solid concrete haunch on every open side.
Many back gardens also run downhill towards the chines and the valley of the Bourne. Where a garden slopes, we level it with low block retaining walls rather than fighting the gradient with one long fall.
There is a real mix here: Victorian and Edwardian villas around Boscombe, Westbourne and Talbot Woods, rows of 1930s bungalows and semis further out, and plenty of newer flats. Front-garden parking is the most common ask on the older streets, often with a dropped kerb and a low wall rebuilt at the same time.

Bournemouth comes under BCP Council for planning and dropped kerbs. A permeable front drive on a house does not need permission, but flats are treated differently and parts of the town are conservation areas, so we check the address before we price.
The national rules are in our driveway planning permission guide, and typical prices are in the driveway cost guide.
