How much does a new driveway cost?
Costs vary by material, size, and ground conditions. As a guide: resin-bound £80–£120/m², block paving £70–£100/m², gravel £40–£60/m². You'll get a detailed, itemised quotation after your free site survey.
How long does a typical garden renovation take?
A full garden renovation usually takes 2–6 weeks depending on size and complexity. Simple patios may take just a few days. We'll give you a clear timeline before work begins.
Do you offer guarantees on your work?
Yes. All our workmanship is guaranteed, and we use materials that come with manufacturer warranties. We stand behind every project we complete — if something isn’t right, we’ll put it right. Your peace of mind matters to us.
Do I need planning permission for landscaping work?
Most projects — driveways, patios, and garden renovations — don't require planning permission. Exceptions apply for listed buildings, conservation areas, and front-driveway permeable paving. We'll advise during the survey and help with any applications.
What areas do you cover?

What materials do you recommend for patios?
It depends on your style and budget. Porcelain is durable, low-maintenance, and comes in many finishes; natural stone (sandstone, limestone) offers a timeless look. We'll show samples during your consultation.
Can you work with my existing garden features?
Absolutely. We often design around existing trees, retaining walls, water features, or outbuildings. Retaining and enhancing what’s already there is part of creating a cohesive design that feels like it belongs.
What's the difference between resin-bound and resin-bonded driveways?
Resin-bound mixes stone with resin and trowels it smooth — permeable, SUDS-compliant, ideal for modern driveways. Resin-bonded scatters loose stone onto a resin layer for a textured finish. We nearly always recommend resin-bound.
How do I maintain my new driveway or patio?
Most surfaces need very little — porcelain patios just occasional sweeping and an annual pressure wash; resin-bound driveways a light jet wash. We'll give full maintenance guidance on completion.
What happens during a site survey?
We visit at a time that suits you, discuss your ideas, take measurements, assess ground conditions, and talk materials. Afterwards we prepare a detailed written quotation. The survey is free with no obligation.
